About the Chemical Guys MPT Pads

The Multi-Pore Technology Pad is an advanced pad that is superior for all jobs and is virtually foolproof.

This pad is specialized with multi-pore construction that enables the user to use the pad on a Rotary or DA. Micro-Pore foam ensures that every pore is exactly the same size as the one next to it; this way, the pad assures a perfect finish every time. Micro-pore pads are very dense in order to keep the product in the pad for even cutting, polishing and finishing. Utilizing dense Micro-Pore Technology also allows these pads to be used at higher speed settings to deliver a truly perfect finish by reducing waste and increasing coverage area. These dense, 1 1/2 inch (3.75cm) thick pads allows more than enough padding to reduce marring and pushing down on the machine during application. These pads are the ideal size for use on FLEX machines, DA (Dual-Action) machines and Rotary polishers.

What pad does what?
	Yellow Heavy Cutting Pad
	Use this pad to apply compounds or polishes to remove severe oxidation, swirls, and scratches in conjunction with a polishing compound. It is the most aggressive and should only be used on oxidized and older finishes. Always follow this pad with an orange pad and a fine polish and then a white pad to refine the paint until it is smooth. 	White Medium -Light Polishing Pad
	Less dense foam formula for the application of waxes, micro-fine polishes and sealants. This pad has very light cutting power so its perfect for pre-wax cleaners. It is the most well used pad as it is ideal for application of pre-wax cleansers as well as many finishing polishes such as Pro-Polish or FP-Final Polish.
