Backing Plates
Backing plates are more important than a lot of people think. For maximum results you need quality backing plates on your rotary or dual action polisher. Backing plates do not only hold your pad in place, but a good backing plate will also be flexible to polish the curves correctly. Backing plates will also evenly distribute the weight and pressure of the machine and absorb the vibration while polishing.
